CHECK UNPEOPLE SLIDING: A POEM BY VIM CORTEZ
On the brink of exception Man scrawls manifestoes Telling lies for the thrill Of discovery. "You never thought you'd Be in on my list Yet there was precedence: Acclaimed suitors To the tune of millions Dragged eyeless souls On the pebbles of dawn. I deliberated in simplistic terms of Antagonism. And wrote you down." The throbbing menace Bumblebee droningly acquiring clout Across many acres, Winter-long tracts of greying lands Vibrating through my varityper. Mammoths subsume untrodden paths Beneath delicate boughs of The same shrubs as did once Brush my palms.
